Can i transfer from my Xbox 360 memory card to my new xbox 360 hard drive?

Q. Hi, i only have a normal xbox 360 memory card.
im planning to get a hard drive when my mum gets home (lol :p)
is there a way to transfer stuff from my memory card onto my new hard drive? (when i get it :d)

A. When I got a new hard drive it came with a transfer disk that transferred memory from the old hard drive to the new one. I don't know about memory cards but I think it might work. I think you can always leave the memory card in the Xbox 360 even if you have a new hard drive.

A. no ive tried lol....it only recognizes it as like a media player to get pictures and music from....you have to buy the memory card or the hard drive =/

Why does my xbox memory card not have full space?
Q. I deleted everything off of my 512mb xbox 360 memory card, but it says I only have 336mb open.

A. Go to system setting, then go to memory, highlight your memory card and push the "Y" button, there should be a option saying format, do that and it will erase everything on your card. If it still doesn't say 512mb there might be something wrong with your memory card

Can anyone tell me the difference between the xbox 360 pro console and the xbox 360 elite console?

How likely is an XBOX 360 elite to develop the Red ring of Death?
Q. I was just curious. I might get an XBOX 360 Elite and I wanted to know at least a rough estimate. All help would be appreciated.

A. The Xbox 360 Elite's potential to get the RROD is extremely low, compared to other 360 platforms. If you want to make sure that your Xbox NEVER gets the RROD (giving that you follow the directions perfectly), here are some tips that can really extend it's lifetime:

1. Always stand your 360 vertically so that it gets maximum ventilation. If you stand it horizontally, only 2 of the total 4 intakes will be of any use
2. Always copy your games onto your hard drive. Not using the CD Drive means less friction, which in turn gives you less heat

Will xbox 360 elite work on panasonic quintrix tv?
Q. I'm about to get the xbox 360 elite, but my brother told me that the xbox will only work on specific types of tv's, well, the tv we allready have is a panasonic quintrix, and im not sure if the xbox would work on here.

A. You need to have an HD TV with HDMI inputs to use the Xbox 360 elite.

A. To my knowledge, they only sell NTSC. But you could always preorder the PAL version from amazon UK, as it is coming out friday.


Are Halo 1 and 2 compatible on the new Xbox 360 250 gb?

A. Yes. Why wouldn't they be? Halo 1 and 2 work on the 60GB Xbox 360 which came out like a year ago so why wouldn't they work on the new one? Just so you know Halo 2 online servers are down so you can't play Halo 2 online anymore.

A. You can just ebay yourself a 20 gig they are so cheap now and modify as large a disk as you want into it for way less. can even get a faster drive with more cache on it.:)


How do I get my xbox 360 S to use the 250 GB?
Q. I got the Xbox 360 slim a few months ago. I know it can carry 250 GB of memory but i have a total memory of 3 GB. It says it is stored as "memory unit". Does anyone know anything to help?

A. You have the 4 GB model that doesn't come with a hard drive. That model's memory is entirely flash memory built in, like from a flash drive. You can add a 250 GB hard drive to the system through the empty hard drive bay on the system.

What will happen if one xbox 360 live account is online on two separate xboxes at the same time?

Q. I dont use my xbox 360 live account very often & i dont want my gold subscription to go to waste. so i lent my account to my friend. from his xbox he recovered my xbox live account & started playing online. im just wondering if anything will happen if they are both on at the same time? im not playing online but just connected online to watch my movies.

A. If im not mistaken, it will sign out your friend if you try to sign on the same account and give him a message saying someone else is signed onto the account.


How to capture Xbox 360 live games and edit them on the Computer?
Q. Hey, alot of people, like on youtube and stuff play xbox 360 live games and somehow upload them onto their computer and edit them....

How do they go about doing this? does anything need to be purchased? i have an ethernet cable...

A. You Need a capture card like if you have a HDTV get a Happauge Hd Pvr or Dazzle

Q. How do you connect 2 controlers to one xbox 360 live account? Like my account is Drunkover, I want my sencond controler to connect to my xbox live also so my brother can play (split screen) but live with me. My freind showed me once how to do this but i forgot. Does anyone know how to do it?

A. There are some games that you can't play online split-screen on. However you can play offline split-screen if there is an option; to connect the second controller just hold the middle X button and sign in (either as a guest or another xbox profile). You cannot connect two controllers to one xbox account.
